INTRODUCTION
NSO or National Science Olympiad is Pakistan’s Science Contest organized by Great Future Pakistan that invites students of Grades 4 – 12 & Bachelor-Master to exhibit their attained knowledge and skills in Science at a neutral platform. For a minimal registration fee, the participants are allowed to display their talent at problem-solving, critical thinking, and calculations while combating with other participants from the same grades but different schools, cities, regions, and provinces.
Students can submit applications for subjects in which they are interested.
The paper will be purely on the relevant subject in which the candidate has submitted application.

The National Science Olympiad aims to foster an interest in science subjects and improve the scientific skills of participants through individual/team-based competitions. They exist nationally and internationally for students in Grades 4 – 12 & Bachelor-Master. The Science Olympiad Challenge provides engaging science online tests and preparatory content to primary and middle school students throughout the world. We understand that all students are different and hence we focus on all ability levels to build confidence and improve attitudes towards math and problem-solving.
Registration Types
There are two types of Registrations in the National Science Olympiad.
- Candidate’s Individual Registrations By Themselves
- Bulk Registrations For Huge Numbers of Students By institutes
What are Bulk Registrations?
Bulk Registrations are the School or College contests having their different seat quota. Bulk Registrations are the contests or competitions organized for schools & colleges through our Online Testing System. The main benefit to the student is that the fee is minimal and the student does not have to travel anywhere with huge expenses. Only he/she needs an active internet connection and a device like a mobile or computer to attempt a test.
The benefit to the school/college or university is that they have seats too. From institute participants, toppers will receive cash awards and each participant will receive e-certificates on the national level.

Bulk Registration
In bulk registrations, students from school/colleges can submit their application in the supervision of Teacher/Coordinator/Principal. Bulk registration spreadsheet can be obtained from website or through email

SYLLABUS
The paper will consist only of physics, biology, chemistry, computer science & general science ( For Class 4th-8th & Arts students only) questions according to their classes. To get an idea of the syllabus please check the below button.
AWARDS
Cash prizes for every three toppers of each class in the test.
E-Certificates will be awarded to all participants.
Eligibility
- Students from all disciplines can apply.
- Pakistani citizens & international students residing in Pakistan can apply.
- There is no restriction on minimum marks for Science Olympiad.
- There are 04 Categories
- Category-I: Category-I is named as NSO-I for Junior Classes. In this Category, students from grades 4th to 8th can apply.
- Category-II: Category-II is named as NSO-II. In this Category, Matric/O-Levels Students either of class 9th or 10th can apply.
- Category-III: Category-III is named as NSO-III. In this Category, Intermediate/A-Levels Students either of class 11th or 12th can apply.
- Category-IV: Category-IV is named as NSO-IV. In this Category, Undergraduate/Bachelors & Masters Students can apply.
- Application Fee is Rs 370/-
Guidelines for NSO
Bulk Registrations
- Get Bulk-Registration Spread Sheet from website or through email (bulk@greatfuture.org.pk).
- Students, falling in any category, are required to pay Great Future processing fee amounting Rs. 370/- to submit applications for National Scientific Olympiad. The payment can be made through e-banking channels.
Individual Registrations
- Click on “Apply Online” tab.

- Fill in the candidate’s required information via NSO Registration Portal (greatfuture.org.pk)
