Rechecking Policy
- A review process involving verification of score calculation, question completion, system-recorded answers, and rubric-based marking accuracy.
- Re-evaluation does not involve re-marking open-ended questions or changes to subjective judgments, unless explicitly permitted.
- This policy ensures transparency, fairness, and academic integrity by providing all eligible participants of the Great Future Online Olympiads a standardized procedure to request re-evaluation (rechecking) of their examination papers in cases of potential marking or system discrepancies.
This policy applies to:
- All officially registered participants of the National Online Olympiad.
- All subjects and levels within the Olympiad framework.
- All jurisdictions, irrespective of country or region.
Participants may request rechecking under the following conditions:
- The request is submitted within 72 hours of result publication by filling out the form given below.
- A valid reason is stated (e.g., suspected technical error, discrepancy in marks).
- The participant has not been disqualified for academic misconduct.
- A non-refundable administrative fee will apply.
Requests must be submitted via the official Olympiad portal at [Link will be updated soon] by providing the following details.
- Participant Roll No and Olympiad & Round No.
- Detailed reason for rechecking request
- Payment receipt.
Rechecking Fee:
- Re-checking / Re-evaluation process is chargeable, i.e., Rs. 500/- (per subject-per paper).
- The rechecking fee is non-refundable in any case.
Review Process:
- We will provide a soft copy of the paper to the student.
- Rechecking will be done through the Rechecking Panel
- Verify scoring algorithm accuracy.
- Check for unmarked or partially marked answers.
- Confirm rubric consistency.
- Assess if the final score reflects the verified evaluation.
- Timeline: Rechecking will be completed within 3-7 working days from request confirmation.
- A specific time will be allotted for the review process, during which you may consult appropriate academic resources and the textbooks you have used for preparation. However, responses generated by AI tools such as ChatGPT, Meta AI, or similar platforms will not be accepted under any circumstances.
- If an error is found, the score will be corrected, and an updated scorecard will be issued.
- The revised result is final and binding.
- Participants will be notified via email.
The rechecking process does not allow for:
- Additional submissions or changes to original answers.
- Appeals against question design or difficulty.
- Full re-evaluation of open-ended subjective responses (unless automated rubrics were misapplied).
Confidentiality & Integrity:
- All rechecking activities are confidential.
- Participants’ data and exam records are protected in compliance with data protection standards.
- In case of mass technical failures or systemic evaluation issues, the Great Future may initiate auto-rechecking for affected participants without individual requests.
